Every word has to start somewhere, and usually, that's with a prefix. There are lots of common prefixes out there -- de-, dis-, non-, anti- -- and your kid probably already knows some. In fact, there's even a prefix in the word prefix! Knowing word roots is a big step in using language skillfully and gracefully, and it can go a long way towards a complete language arts education. Help your child get to know some common prefixes and with our prefix exercises that will help them make their writing sing.
