In this activity, your child will reflect on how adults can learn from kids. They will watch a TED Talk presented by a 12-year-old girl about the power of young people’s ideas and teachings, and they will generate some of their own unique ideas.

Children will reflect on the importance of performing acts of kindness for the Earth, hear a story about easy ways they can care for the Earth, and set goals to conserve more in their everyday lives.

A great way to cultivate awareness, focus and attention in the present is through movement. Mindful movement can also decrease stress and anxiety and increase calm.

Halloween is a great opportunity to look around and see faces that are funny, scary, happy and sad.
