Help your students master decimals with this engaging math lesson. Your class will put their art skills to work creating a poster, and will practice mathematical explanations through peer collaboration.

Challenge students to think about decimals while identifying numbers to the hundredths and thousandths. They'll discuss decimal attributes too. Use this lesson on its own or as support to the lesson Dividing Decimals: Estimation.

This lesson is designed for fourth graders to practice their skills with the order of operations along with multiplying fractions and adding or subtracting decimals.
