Week 4 of this independent study packet for third graders brings on new challenges in various subjects.

Embark on a worldwide animal safari with this nature-lover's workbook! Learn about animal habitats, endangered species and more, all while honing reading comprehension skills.

The activities in this workbook do double-duty as both vocabulary practice and earth science review with a collection of word scrambles, crosswords, and quizzes about animals, plants and planets.

Your child will improve language arts skills while learning about life science in this workbook. It includes word searches, reading exercises, creative writing, spelling tests and other activities.

Nature documentaries might make the animal world seem graceful, but it's actually pretty gross! Explore all the icky, sticky and smelly things animals do to help each other survive in the wild.

Give the subject of energy a zap! This workbook offers a brief overview of energy, its sources and uses. With clear vocabulary and illustrations, it's a great introduction to what fuels us.

Earth's neighbors have landed: the planets that is! Your child can make his way across our solar system, planet by planet, learning interesting facts like any good astronaut, and making a 3-D mobile.
