Week 4 of this independent study packet for third graders brings on new challenges in various subjects.

Your child will improve language arts skills while learning about life science in this workbook. It includes word searches, reading exercises, creative writing, spelling tests and other activities.

The activities in this workbook do double-duty as both vocabulary practice and earth science review with a collection of word scrambles, crosswords, and quizzes about animals, plants and planets.

Earth's neighbors have landed: the planets that is! Your child can make his way across our solar system, planet by planet, learning interesting facts like any good astronaut, and making a 3-D mobile.
