Children will reflect on how community service makes us better people. Then they will complete a service survey to gain a better understanding of their interests, gifts, and their potential role as a service worker in their community.

In this activity, your child will use mindfulness to practice staying as still as they can. Then, during a freeze dance activity, they will pay attention to the constellation of sensations and feelings throughout parts of their bodies.

In this activity, your child will write stories about two different people. The stories will include similarities and differences in the ways each person lives in their communities.

In this activity, your child will learn about the benefits of yoga and will practice different yoga poses. Then, they will teach someone else three poses and explain how yoga can help us find calmness and ease.

In this social emotional learning activity, your child will write loving kindness notes to place around the home to serve as a reminder (for themselves and others) to see the goodness within themselves.
