Students journey on a scavenger hunt around the school to put their knowledge of the Five Themes of Geography to the test!

This lesson will introduce students to intermediate map directions northwest, northeast, southwest, and southeast. It also offers practice writing functional texts using transitional words as well as both cardinal and intermediate directions.

In this lesson, your students will learn how to identify what direction they are going when they move from one place to another. They'll be able to visually see directions in the classroom.
