Children build a "Loving Kindness Garden" to represent what they have learned about love, mindfulness, and caring for others in community.

In this activity, your child will practice mindfulness, choose one thing to do in which they can slow down, and reflect on this experience. You can even try slowing down together!

In this social emotional learning activity, your child will hear the story Zoo Zen: A Yoga Story for Kids, learn the benefits of yoga, and create their own yoga sequence to teach someone else.

In this social emotional learning activity, your child will write loving kindness notes to place around the home to serve as a reminder (for themselves and others) to see the goodness within themselves.

Nature is so generous to us all. How often do we reflect and thank nature? In this activity, children will engage with the classic story, The Giving Tree, and actively practice gratitude in nature for trees and all that trees do for us!

In this activity, your child will write and draw about a time when they acted in ways that illustrated responsibility, kindness, or integrity. They will also reflect on what it felt like to have control over their choices and behaviors.

In this lesson, your child will watch a video on restorative justice, and together you will come up with ways your family can use restorative justice at home.

In this activity, your child will learn about the benefits of yoga and will practice different yoga poses. Then, they will teach someone else three poses and explain how yoga can help us find calmness and ease.

In this activity, your child will write stories about two different people. The stories will include similarities and differences in the ways each person lives in their communities.

Children will reflect on how community service makes us better people. Then they will complete a service survey to gain a better understanding of their interests, gifts, and their potential role as a service worker in their community.
