Scientists observe and classify the world around them! In this lesson, your students will practice their processing skills by observing a group of objects and grouping the objects based on their attributes.

Your students will have loads of fun discovering new words and using them describe the feelings of different characters. Featuring No, David! by David Shannon, this lesson will help kids practice reading and writing.

Mae Jemison was the first African American female astronaut to enter space. Use the Get to Know Mae Jemison lesson plan to learn more about this famous scientist. Children will then read and write about her, and create their own paper rocket.
