This simple review helps first-graders familiarize themselves with common words. By building their vocabulary, they'll simultaneously improve their reading skills.

Help your first graders learn word formation with this lesson that has them create a new word and write a story about it.

In this lesson, students will hear the story Say Something and make promises to each other to speak up when others are lonely or hurt. They will also have an opportunity to express themselves through acts of service and painting.
