This tasty lesson will teach second graders about fractions using cookies.

Provide students with an opportunity to identify the wholes that are correctly divided into halves, thirds, and fourths (equal shares). Use this activity alone as a support lesson or alongside Cookie Fractions Fun.

Help your students find their fraction families with this lesson that sends them searching for their equal fraction pieces!

Students will use their hands to mold clay into shapes, then divide those shapes into equal and unequal quarters.
