Farewell pumpkins and turkeys! It’s time to decorate for Christmas! Your students will work on the foundations of counting, one-to-one correspondence, and one-to-one tagging as they add decorations to their Christmas cookies and trees.

Seeing things one word and letter at a time is a lot easier when students can cover them with fun materials!

This is a great lesson to use at the start of the school year. The focus is creating one happy classroom! Students will get to know themselves and their peers and describe how they will make the classroom a happy learning place.
