Judgements assumptions about others can cause disconnect in relationships and communities. In this social emotional learning activity, kids will explore how to break through assumptions and create a colorful bracelet that represents unity.

In this activity, you and your child will read a story about heartfulness, practice heartfulness by sending kind wishes to others, and draw pictures of those you both love and care for (such as family members, friends, or pets).

Your child will reflect on the term "beauty" and the things they are grateful for. They will read the book All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon and reflect on how focusing on the small and big things of beauty around them can benefit themselves and others.

Back-to-back breathing is a great way to practice self-calming while also creating connection and developing trust.

Children will deepen their understanding of global citizenship and create a collage that illustrates all of the ways many communities are connected.
